Recycling Club

The Herbert Akins recycling club members are fourth and fifth grade students who are selected yearly by their classroom teachers. Students must display all of the character traits taught at Herbert Akins, as they will be role models in our school. Members of the recycling club are responsible for the weekly collection of the school’s recycled materials. We recycle paper, plastic, cans, and juice pouches in the classrooms.
